My friend has been sober for two years in October. I am so proud of her. But I am also so worried. She has been going through a hard time and has lately been expressing loudly how badly she wants to drink. I talked to her about it and she said that she is resisting and that some days are harder than others and that she doesn't think she will drink because of everything she will lose (family, friends, self-respect,....). I asked her if she has been to an AA meeting lately and she said no, that she knows she needs to go but that she doesn't always get something from them. I told her i think she should go anyway. She told me that she is really worried she might drink because we are going on summer break and she will have so much time on her hands. It is only two weeks but, still. I asked her what i can do to help and she said she didnt' know if there is anything I can do because she's like the choice is hers. But there has to be SOMETHING I can do to help. Advice please!!!! Please... I'm so afraid that if she drinks... I will lose her... I dont think she can handle slipping back to drinking... so anything... Please..

i had a friend who went to AA meetings, and everytime he goes he feels really go about himself. he met friends who can understand him. she really need to go to those meetings.
i go to a support group and im surrounded by people that been through what i've been through.
she also have to keep herself busy in some way, to keep her mind off of things.
life is hard, and i becomes stressed out a lot, but we have to be strong.
