Find out what happened to your friend..Why is he in pain? I can't say I know alot about cutting but what I have learned is that by doing this a person feels alive and the cutting is a way in trying to relieve the pain..But, cutting actually makes more pain because then you have the scarring as a reminder..Another post the other day mentioned she had been using a rubber band..Saying the feeling was the same without the cut and scarring..Please try that and ask your friend to do the same..My number one choice is alwayds seek therapy for this..Cutting is not a normal thing and it always causes more pain..If you and your friend cannot afford help please go online and whatever town you live in look for (free mental health assistance)..Please do this for both of you..You sound like you are a good friend and began cutting yourself due to pain in knowing your friend is hurting..so you see the cycle and it's imperative to seek help..I pray for you both-go day by day without self injury--PLEASE..

thanks so much for helping. its really hard and i need all the haelp i can get because i really care about him and i hate seeing him hurt like this. the problems is he just won't talk about it and its frustrating :/ i just don't know what to do anymore

I'm sorry..There is so much pain in this cuting business..IF he won't talk with oyu will he talk with a councelor? Honestly I don'tknow what to do other than that..You don't say how ole he is so unsure if yu can let parents know..
