my last encounter was october 30. i got the flu shortly after (~5 weeks, maybe?) i made a topic here and you told me it was just stress. i got tested at the 6 week mark using an OraQuick and i tested neg. then i got tested again, just 3-4 days shy of the 3 month mark and tested negative again. i got the flu again around that time (it might be because a friend of mine was sitting next to me at a retaurant, she had the flu).

since then, i haven't been tested. i'm waiting on the 6 month mark which is around may 3. i've gotten the flu again and now i have the cold (or post-nasal drip).

i normally dont get sick this often...it's starting to worry me.

possible explanations:

the first 2 flus were explained (1- after encounter, i was super stressed about possible hiv and 2- friend was sitting real close to me who had the flu)
the third flu, i don't really know where that came from...

and the cold/post-nasal drip- it might be because i sleep with the a/c on and the fan on and i sleep in my boxers only...i DO cover up, but i don't know...

and my diet has been complete garbage. and i haven't been taking my multi-vitamins or anything either. and i'm sleeping ~4-5 hours during the week and 6-7 hours on the weekends

what do you guys think? Sad

you def need to get checked out at 6 monthes, and then again at 12 months. try and get a blood test rather than a swab. your prob just run down because of your lifestyle. you need to start eating/sleeping properly. i doubt you have HIV, the probability of it coming up negative after three months is pretty low. but you must get checked again to put your mind at rest. i had a possible exposure in october last year whilst on holiday in china. i had loads of acute symptoms for a month afterwards, and i also have prolonged mild symptoms even now. iv had two nagative blood tests. im gonna get tested again in a couple of months just to make sure.
i think you'l be fine. buy some vitamin c, and start looking after your body.
good luck
