I get frequent headaches in my eyes, about one a week. I don't know if it is something I should be worried about or not. It is not always in the same eye, but it is always in one eye or the other, not both. I take Excedrin Migraine when I get them but if I don't take a pill the pain only gets worse unless I go to bed. I have certain things that I think cause it, like flashing lights, having a cold, not enough sleep, but other times it seems completely random. I'm 18, and I've been getting these headaches for as long as I can remember, at least all the way through high school, but they have not always been this frequent. I just don't know if it is something I should be worried about or something I just have to deal with like I have been.

The first place to start is with your family doctor and referrals.
It does seem that you are relating to me classic TMJ findings. The headaches, eye pain and light flashes are usually related to a neuromuscular/jaw position problem.
See your dentist/TMJ specialist for an examination and advice.
