Hi, Im 17 and I recently started having sex with my boyfriend ((Yesterday)).. This is the first time sense December of last year that iv had sex. We had sex twice yesterday and both times were painful but the second was even more painful. We used NON LATEX condoms because i thought i was allergic to latex which turns out im not so we are switching to latex.. anyways i went to the bathroom and it hurt to urinate.. i later realized at the bottom of my vagina it was pretty red and sore.. (which is normal for me after every time iv had sex) and i wanted to know how to avoid being in pain the next time i have sex and how to keep it from getting this sore again.. it was almost like it was torn..

Also, when i got home the next afternoon I went to the bathroom and noticed a VERY strong odor that smelled like SEWAGE ((COMING FROM MY VAGINA!)) and i immediately freaked out.. I took a shower and washed myself and its still there.. i just took a shower and it kindof went away and now its back and still strong... I have NEVER had this problem.. ever... I dont think iv ever had a yeast infection or any vaginal problems and my boyfriend has been tested and has nothing.. my other past boyfriend had been tested also and had nothing..
I DO NOT want to go to the doctor.. im sure its a simple vaginal problem.. but i really want this odor gone because it is disgusting... Is there anything i can wash with to completely remove it?? Also, we used Lifestyle non latex condoms.. (They suck!! ALWAYS USE TROJANS LADIES!!) anyways could they have anything to do with the smell??

I would get checked out just incase..I am 19 and having the same problem. I started putting a little powder "down there" to keep it dry after my showers..you can also try using a blowdryer to dry off your vag after showers but don't burn yourself!!! Or use a tampon and change it every 3-4 hours that will keep the moisture from the inside..and use ph balanced soaps

well actually i figured out what it was:).. i have a kidney infection. I guess when we had sex it probably irritated it.. iv been using Azeo to get rid of it and i feel sooo much better.. thanks for the advice though! Smile
