Q: Forgotten pills and placebo

I'm taking tri sprintec and I take my pills every night. Two nights during the third week in a row I forgot the night before and took it early the following morning. I think I read that I am supposed to start a new pack instead of taking the placebo pills (aka skip my period) but I'd rather not do that. Is it really what I should do?

Call your gynecologist to make sure, but I'm pretty sure you can start a new pack after your period. Just so you know, there isn't really any harm in skipping your period. I think it's the best thing about being on the pill (besides the not being pregnant part).
