Q: Foreskin reconstruction

I have been working on reconstructing my "lost" foreskin through stretching of the shaft skin. I have read much on line about this, and have gotten all my ideas about how to do it from there. Is this something that is accepted from a medical point of view? And is there any actual medical evidence on this subject either pro or con? I want to complete the reconstruction, but not at a cost of a damaged penis.
