foreskin not retracted
Posted: 04-20-08 15:31pm

Hello this is my first post. This is the reason i joined.

My foreskin is still um.. not retracted (if that is the right term?)
And i am really really worried that i may have problems in the future or that i have left it to late to pull it back forever.

I masterbate do not have problems with being able to cum.
No other problems that i know of.
I can pull it back and get "hard" with it pulled back but it feels like it could rip
i only have masterbated with it pulled back once.

Please give any information you can.

It can be one of two things.

Firstly, (and probably most probably) it's a condition called Phimosis. Try googling it and there'll be a wealth of information. It's a condition where the lip of the foreskin is so tight that it cannot stretch to retract fully over the head of the penis. Treatments for this can be as simple as stretching techniques that you'd have to do every day or so, or the doctor can prescribe ointments that stimulate the skin enough to have it grow quicker (with the help of stretching techniques). There are also, (I recommend as a last resort) surgical alterations that can be made to the foreskin to allow it to stretch, or full out circumcision where the foreskin is completely removed. I'd recommend working on stretching to see if it works, and only go surgical as a last resort.

Secondly, it could be Frenulum Breve. It's a condition where the frenulum (the really sensitive part of your penis, right underneath the head) is very tight, and the foreskin cannot fully retract because the frenulum prevents it. Again, as with Phimosis, there are treatments. If it doesn't stretch with daily stretching exersizes, there are surgical options, such as the frenuloplasty, which is a procedure that lengthens the frenulum so the foreskin can fully retract.

Again, I recommend surgical alternatives as a last resort. They can be uncomfortable and, in very very very rare circumstances can not be successful.

I highly recommend seeing your doctor. There is absolutely NO shame in talking to him/her about this... it is something they are trained and paid to do. The earlier the better as well... when (if you aren't already) you are having sex, phimosis or frenulum breve can lead to tearing.

I hope this helps!

First thanks for that I forgot to say i am 16 and heh I do not want to speak to my dad(only got one parent). A thing i know is that my brother and my dad had to be circumcisioned when they were both born.

I can pull my foreskin back fully, although i have a big vein.
And if i went to the doctor have not be to my doctor for ages and ages but that is something i just wondering what i would say?

Zkestes is talking about one of the many stretching techniques you can try.

And, even though your dad may not have a foreskin, he can still help you by connecting you with people who can offer you advice, such as a doctor or another source. And, if you do happen to see a doctor, just tell them what's going on. There is NO shame in masturbating, and there is NO shame in knowing what is going on with your body. The foreskin is meant to retract.
Just make sure that you keep it clean.... if you happen to tear it and it's dirty, infection is highly, highly probable and can wreak havoc down there.

Best of luck.

Hmmmm. I guess you understand that I would feel sky about talking about my penis to my dad haha but it is aslo stupid not to.

A thing i would like to know is if your foreskin should retract naturally and if at like 21 or around that age is your foreskin meant to be back also is a good idea to try to have my foreskin back on one night and see how it is in the morning?

Thanks again for all the help i am still worried but this is helping ALOT so thanks for all of this.
