Q: Foot turned in when walking

My Grandaughter who is 16yrs old, walks with her left foot turned in and this makes her walk look very ungainly. As it was not noticed when she was younger, it appears to have worsened over the last couple of years.

If I am not correct, this is club foot...One of our sons was born with this...He was put in a cast for a few months to bring it back to the correct position...After this he went to braces on his feet at night and later corrective shoes for maybe two years...This cured him...I would consult an Orthopedist to see if anything can be done at this later age in life...I wish her well...

Good luck,
Caroline
