According to the therapy that doctors gave to you, the orthopedist probably thought that pain originated from the muscles, tendons, ligaments or joints, while the neurologist thought that the pain originated from the nerves (neuralgia). It is very hard for me to diagnose your problem according only to your description of the feet pain without physical examination. You may want to ask for a second opinion from another orthopedist.
