Q: Foot pain and flat feet
asked by: DoctorQuestion on October 29th, 2009
I recently have been having occassionally a stabbing pain in my right foot around the arch and toes area. This just happens a few times a day but it's a pretty intense pain. Any idea what the problem is? It only happens on the right foot

You would like to know what the cause of the pain in your foot may be.

Pain in the feet usually appears when someone has flat feet and is standing or walking for a rather long time. The pain is harmless and may disappear if you have shoes whose sole is 1 or 2 centimeters higher that the front part of the shoe. You may consider seeing an orthopedist for further diagnosis and treatment advice.
