Q: foot pain after sprained ankle

I sprained my ankle a little over a week ago and it swelled and bruised bad.

now the swelling has gone down and the bruising is starting to go away.

I can walk on it, but not 100%.

It's still a little tight.

at night when i got to bed my foot starts throbbing, and the areas of my foot seem like it's burning when i touch it. kinda like the skin is real tight.

when i wake up, i can't even stand on it, it hurts and burns, then after about 5-10 minutes it goes away.

Should it take this long to heal? going on 2 weeks.... i say this cause it's been about 10yrs since i turned a ankle, and i seem to recover quicker.

It seems to be a Grade 2 sprain based on all that i've read.

Any help is appreciated. I don't have insurance so i can't afford to go to the doctor or get it x-rayed.
