My mother in law has pain in achilles tendon area. There is no known injury, no swelling, pain is NOT in the ankle area nor in the heel. The pain is limited to the tendong from the back of the heel straight up to the bottom of the calve. This pain is accompanied with extreme sensitivity by her skin to even her clothing touching it. She has taken muscle relaxers which have not helped at all. thank you.
