I have had foot drop for 15 years. The
only shoes I can wear over my AFO are
regular tennis shoes. Do you have any
suggestions? I am getting tired of wearing
nike's all of the time. Thank you!

foot drop Posted: 05-19-08 12:20pm
Hi, I ended up with foot drop following a
herniated disc at L4/L5 - was intially
given the plastic AFO which was awful and
could only get it on with training shoes.
I have purchased the SAFO which is an
ankle orthotic made from silicone, I can
get it on with regular shoes, its comfy
and discreet. Take a look for yourself its
made by Dorset Orthopedic - they have
their own website
