I really need some help, i need to know what kind of foods to eat in order to raise my good colesterol. The doc said it is at 31 now and it needs to be at 39 and higher. Please help me, i have not started the lipitor yet, and he said i can get off of it as soon as he sees it higher so i really need help. Thank you !!!

i m going to send you the websites that talks about food that raises your cholesterol.
have you thought about taking herbs also?

i said this 1000 x's. omega 3 fatty acids has lowered my blood pressure so i got off my meds. i m going to see if it lowered my cholesterol because im not taking the meds for that either.
people need to give herbs, minerals and fish oil. i was told they did a study and omega 's work, so i was sold.

Hi,

you should know that there are two main nutrients in the foods you eat that make your cholesterol high. The high cholesterol foods contain:

saturated fat, a type of fat found mostly in animal products; and

cholesterol, which comes from animals as well.

coconut oil may be cholesterol free, but is highly saturated and more dangerous than seafood

Eat more beans
Whole wheat bread
Eat more grains
Eat fresh, cold-water fish.
Eat less fried foods and more baked and grilled.
