Hello,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out.

I can understand your concern for these symptoms but you need to get it evaluated from your surgeon. If a mesh was put during the time of surgery, then chances of a recurrent hernia are very less. However if there was no mesh then chances of a recurrent hernia are there.

In the meantime, ensure that you do not have any increased intrabdominal pressure due to coughing, constipation or lifting any heavy weights.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
