hi, my last period started on march 26th. i've been having unprotected sex from march 20th - april 4th.. he used the pull out method all but the very last time on april 4th. i've taken two pregnancy test, because i'm paranoid. one on april 7th, and another on april 10th.. even though i'm pretty sure both of those would be early to tell. I got sick today, but i think it was the flu, even though it only lasted from about 5am - 4 in the afternoon. i've had headaches, and my lower back hurts. do you think i am pregnant? is it way to early? when should i take another test? please answer asap. thank you!

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Urine pregnancy tests usually start showing positive results after about 1 week of missing periods. Your current symptoms could be suggestive of pregnancy. Pull method is associated with very high failure rates. The unprotected intercourse that you had with ejaculation taking place inside you could have been close to your ovulation time (time of egg release from ovary), and hence it can lead to pregnancy. Wait and watch for your next periods. Look out for development of any new symptoms. If you do not get your periods within 10 days of your actual expected period dates, or if you develop any new symptoms suggestive of pregnancy, then you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for thorough evaluation to confirm/rule out pregnancy.
Take care.
