Q: Floating Testicles?

I'm a 27 year old male, and recently when I have sex (especially when I'm on my back), my testicles are moving up out of my scrotum and either beside my penis or all the way up above my penis. There's no pain otherwise, but it does cause discomfort when it happens. I usually have to reach down and push my testicles back into my scrotum. I've had an inguinal hernia on the right side and had corrective surgery, but that was completely different.

i went out with a guy for a couple of years and this happened to him every time he got aroused. we never talked about it. but i am certain he didn't know why it was happening. i spoke to a doctor recently and mentioned it in passing and she had no idea why this would occur. i've never seen it since or found anyone else who has ever encountered it. but i'd be very interested to find out the cause...
