Hi All,

My father has been suffering from parkinson's disease from past 5-6 years and is under medication. Some of his symtoms are:

-Slowness of movement
-Losing dexterity. left hand&leg are not as active as the right ones
-cramped handwriting
-Gait
-Drooling

But from past few months, We observed fits like behavior. I'm really not sure at this point if it can be compared with fits at all. He is having this fits like attack after his supper and when he goes to sleep (generally 30-45 mins after he goes to bed) and never ever in other times of the day. Other symptoms are drooling, Keeping his eyes open (with out blinking) looking very straight, frozen body, peculiar sound from his mouth when exhaling, not been able to talk and not having any other body movements. He is in this kind of state for 20-45 minutes.

It would be great if any doctor around can comment on this.

Please be noted that this very peculiar and it happened 3 random times in last nine months.

-Kalyan.
