Fits? Do you mean he's lashing out in anger, like a temper tantrum or is he convulsing? If he is having temper tantrums, it could be a result of how you are interacting with him.

If he is convulsing, you need to take him to a specialist, like a neurologist and have him evaluated. If he has epilepsy, it needs to be treated, as soon as possible.

You definitely need to take him to a therapist. It's not normal whether it is a result of your disciplinary habits or not, especially if he's running a fever while doing it.

I think the original poster meant fits as seizures, which is why she brought up temperature, and also why it is in the epilepsy forum. If your son is having fits (seizures) without a fever (also known as febrile seizures), then he needs to be seen by a neurologist, who can make the diagnosis of epilepsy or any other illness your son may have.

LOL now I am confused, as this thread is under GENERAL Q & A, but when I come to this page, at the top it says Conditions and Diseases: Epilepsy Forum...admin? What's going on lol?

She posted in the General Q and A, but since she was asking about epilepsy, I copied it to the epilepsy so it would get people from both the epilepsy and general forums to look at it: hopefully giving her an answer Smile
