Q: Fishy smell from vagina

my boyfriend and i were fooling around then before we new it clothes were off and he was fingering me to get me wet enough for his penis to go in. Once i was wet enough he put his penis in and put his hand jst above my head and icould smell this fishy smell which made me feel really uncomfortable and embarrassed so i stopped the sex. This fishy smell has clearly came from my vigina but I dnt know why i cleaned myself below an hr before meetin up with my boyfriend pls help

Fishy smell from vagina is usually sign of bacterial vaginosis. You might want to visit your gynecologist for: vaginal swab with antibiogram in order to determine the pathologic bacteria that caused this condition, and the most useful antibiotic for treating it.
Why and how these bacteria have appeared can not be told, but hormonal imbalance, certain diet and perhaps transmission from another person might contribute to this condition.
Please keep in mind that your partner has to be tested for bacterial infection so that he does not transmit it back once your treatment is successful.
