I have been on Fish Oil since 2004. When it was Omacor, I didn't have a problem. When they changed it to Lovazza, I got severe allergic reaction's, swelling of lip's, eye lid's, front of neck, with tingles, like little bugs crawling, and sometimes burning itchy hand's, mainly finger's, with little bumps, and a ltethargic, flu like feeling. I have to take the fish oil, because my hiv med's make my blood sugar go through the roof, and the fish oil keep's it in check. And it hast to be the prescription fish oil. A friend gave me some Adderall about a year ago, to try, for some adhd symptom's I was having, and noticed it helped with the side effect's of the allergic reaction I was haveing to the fish oil. Well, I waited about a year, and keped trying to work with the fish oil, and the allergy was just too much. I stopped takeing it for about 6 month's, I can't believe I'm not a diabetic by now. I got me a prescription for Adderall a couple of month's ago, and the allergy symptom's are all gone!! I believe it's working like an epipen. And I have tried Benidryl for the allergy, but it's not that kind of a sinus, mild allergy. I need strong epinephrin (adrinlin) I have had to go to the emergancy room before to get a shot of adrenalin for an allergy. I have allot of weird allergy's. Could this Adderall, be working like an epipen? I suppose I could just use an epipin everyday, but I hate needles! Any thought's? By the way, I called Glaxo Smilth Kline, and they said, thier base formula may have changed when they switched to Lovazza. SUX! By the way, the Adderall I take is a very small amount, 5 milligram's 2 times a day. Counteracts the side effect's from the fish oil perfcetly! I'm so happy and relieved I can take the fish oil now, I wont become a diabetic!
