First time sex. This is 4 days after. Why the blood?

I had sex for the first time on April 10th. First he pulled out, then the next time we used a condom. It wasn't the best experience, hurt, light bleeding, etc. The very light bleeding stopped the next day. I've been having some cramps and soreness since then. I decided to give myself some time to rest and heal. I slept about 10 hours and woke up today (the 14th) to pee and saw some blood. My period is not due until around the 27th. The blood was just a small amount and hasn't lasted all day. So I'm not sure if its an early period. This is 4 days after. Why the blood? I've read that it is too early to be having pregnancy symptoms, but something is going on in my body. Should I just wait until I'm due to stat my period? Help! Thanks!
