So I have been dating my boyfriend for a while now and we have done some things together already.. He has told me he loves me..just recently and I am ready to take it to the next level.. How do I go about taking that next step. It does not seem like a big deal but I do not know how. I have never had a good experience with sexual things until him. I was raped when I was 9 by my broher and I have always been scared of guys ever since then but when I started dating my boyfriend it was totally different. I am not scared of him.. But I still do not know how to go about taking it to the next step. Do you have any suggestions. How to tell him or things to do... I really appreciate anyone who answers me and I will write back a thank you.

I don't know how old you are, I am assuming you're at least 17-18. First, you must have birth control. If you don't, there is a huge chance you can get pregnant. (Enough said about the birth control.) Privacy is key. Find a place where the two of you can be alone for at least an hour. Next, if you want to make love to him, you have to send the right signals telling him you are ready. You need to arouse him. Start by flirting with him. Then, start kissing him. Kiss him on the lips, kiss his neck (right behind the earlobe), and while you are kissing him, hold him closely. While holding him closely and kissing him passionately, move your hand down south and start rubbing his genitals (through the clothing). While all of this is going on, he will probably be doing some stuff of his own to you. If you are feeling comfortable enough at this point to move on, put your hand down the front of his pants and fondle what you find. All of this stuff so far is enough to completely arouse him. If you are sure you want to go all the way, now is the time. Start by undoing his pants/belt/zipper. Then pull them down. Take his shirt off. Take his penis into your hand and gently stroke it. Then lay him down on the surface (bed/floor), and undress him the rest of the way. He has probably undressed you somewhat, so don't be surprised. Undress yourself the rest of the way. Next comes the big kahuna...lay down beside him, and stroke his penis some more if you would like. This will make him very hard, and guys like that kind of stimulation. Finally, either roll on top of him or pull him on top of you and let him enter you.

That's it. This is just one scenario, and it may play out a little different.

I am with wondering2009. The two of you have to be ready for this, and some form of birth control has to play a part of it. You have to be prepared, or someone will end up getting pregnant...and from what I understand of the situation, neither of you want that to happen.

Bipolarman and wondering2009 are both right on here. You need something to protect you from birth control and disease. This should become common practice for you now. I am also concerned for the emotional impact this is going to have on you. I was also a victim of sexual abuse and was not prepared for the emotional aftermath of my first time. Do you have a counselor that you can talk to?

Just wonerding how it went...you don't have to give details unless you want to. Just wondering if you and your mate are still together, or still trying to go for the first time...Just keep in mind, that everyone has had a first time, and it is nothing to be ashamed of. My first time was on my mother's couch watching a movie. I wanted to throw up when I was done, but it got better.
