So I am a virgin, getting married in a month and a half. I have a gyno appt. scheduled today to talk about birth control options. Well this morning I woke up with my period. I do not want to miss an opportunity to go on birth control before the wedding and do not know what to do. I read that you shouldn't go to the gyno on your period.

You can still go to discuss birth control options.

You still need to see a doctor to get a perscription for BC pills or some of the other options. Even if you do not get a gyno exam, you should still go to discuss BC options.

Since it takes pills a while to work, I would not skip this appointment.
