First aid for stroke

We know, common salt increases BP. So if a man suffering from a sudden stroke or cerebral, can a small pinch of common salt applied directly to his tongue, will help him revive temporarily (or make him remain alive) until he is admitted to ICCU??? In simple words, can common salt be considered as a first aid to ANY stroke victim????
