Greetings!
I am a 35 yr old Mom of a 7 month old baby and am frightened to no end by my ring finger twitching. First I had (right) calf twitching for 3wks, then random twitching all over my body (though I was definitely searching for it more) to now my left hand ring finger twitching. The area between my pinky and ring finger knuckle appears to twitch, in turn causing the finger to twitch. It does it at rest but not rhythmically and it comes and goes sometimes also doing it while my fingers are curled or hand is up in the air in front of me. I recently began adding hand gripper exercises into my regimen and noticed that same area between the knuckle having a kind of weird sensation. I have had an office job for the past 6 years though stopped working when my baby was born. I do use my laptop almost daily. I exercise and have not other symptoms like weakness or atrophy. I do, however have something on my face that I thought was a pimple but it turns out it is not and I don't know what it is. Looks like a small cluster of sores or something. Ewww, sorry. Of course I googled this and maybe it's seborrhea dermatitis - a skin condition like eczema that is common in Parkinson's!! I have gone from thinking I have ALS to now Parkinson's all in a matter of a month. I've got so much stress and anxiety, I just can't take it anymore. I do have appts this Monday with my fam doc as well as neuro. Just looking for any thoughts in the mean time. Thanks for listening.
