I have finger joint pain in both hands, pinky, ring and middle fingers, DIP and PIP joints are affected, no swelling or redness, just constant pain which does not lessen with activity, have also been experiencing shooting pain into the nail bed. Upper part of middle finger on left hand from PIP joint when straightened shows signs of curling under and outwards as if the entire section of the finger is rolling under.

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

The description of the symptoms indicate the possibility of inflammatory joint disorder.

The causes include rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus , psoriatic arthritis, seronegative arthritis.

You might consult a rheumatologist for an examination and evaluation with necessary tests to diagnose the probable cause.

In the mean time, use of NSAIDs, like Advil or Motrin, Heat application and stretch exercises might be helpful.

I hope this helps.
