My friend's symptoms are worsening - she has paralysis in hands, is numb from hips down and her brain function is diminishing.
Where on earth do we begin finding places of care that is not an Aged Care Facility when my friend is only 60 years of age. She lives alone in a small flat suitable for her disabilities but when she falls being alone is a problem. She is trying to come to terms with the reality of losing her independence while living the reality of progressive decline of her health. She is stubborn, strong mentally and it kills me to see her try so hard to get up after she has one setback after another.
What is our next action?
