I have been adopted I am now 32 years old. I want to trace my real birth mom. I have found my half brother already. How do I go about finding out details and how do i find out about my health conditions as people ask me about there health and I can never answer them.

Any response will help.

Adopted adults in the UK have been able to apply for access to their original birth record since 1975. Those adopted (England and Wales) before 12 November 1975 must see a nominated counsellor before they can be given access to their records. If you were adopted after 11 November 1975 you can choose whether or not you want to see a counsellor. Applications, leaflets and more information can be obtained from:

The Office for National Statistics
The General Register Office, Adoptions Section
The Registrar General

I have already got some birth details like her name and birth certificate etc.
But it does not mention any health problems.

You might want to consult an agency and get in touch with her. OR ask about how to receive medical history from your biological mother. Do you know how to find contact telephone number for these agencies?
