Q: Finally Feeling Better!

After about 6 days of feeling like death & doing nothing, I finally feel better! Kaylee is still coughing a little but she's clearing up too thankfully. We went to the doctors Tuesday, we both had fevers. Kaylee's ears & everything looked good. Her chest was a little rumbly though. The doctor put her on amoxicillian & something to clear up her cough & nose. She put me on antibiotics too, & gave me a really strong cough medicine that knocks me out about 5 minutes after taking it lol. Oh & at the appt Kaylee was 22lbs 9oz, she's finally gaining some weight.

So now today I've been trying to catch up on housework that I haven't touched in almost a week. I'm still not feeling 100% so I'm taking it easy still. I don't have an appetite hardly at all again yet, I got down to 151lbs while I was sick.

My best friend had her baby yesterday! A little boy, Zachary Alan. He weighed in at 7lbs 5oz & 21 inches long & he's just the cutest little thing. I went to see them but didn't hold the baby.

I gotta go, my munchkin is up from her nap, gotta make lunch! I hope everyone is doin well Very Happy

Thanks everyone! I think I told you guys about the house just up the road from Shane's moms that we were going to look at? Well we looked at it & it is BEAUTIFUL! Hardwood floors, wood trim EVERYTHING. It's 4 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, full basement, walk in attic 2 additions were built onto the kitchen, they're just little rooms, not sure what they were used for though. The owner wants $130,000 for it because it comes with 8 acres of land but we talked to him about this government thing we were approved for & told him we were only approved for up to $100,000. His idea was (Since we would have a hard time getting a mortgage for 130) to rent to own the house to us for 5 years, then after the 5 years was up our car would be paid off & Shane would have a few promotions at work so he'd be making more & we should have no problem getting a mortgage. Another idea was to still go through the USDA loan thing & he'd sell us the house but just one acre of land for $100,000.

It's a lot to think about though. Whatever we decide on has to be the right place because we won't just be renting it & moving in another year or so, we'll be BUYING it & it will be ours in 30 years.

Right now it's between that house & this one :

Go to this website, click Residential & it's the 7th house down, it says ''Spacious 3 bedroom ranch"
