What is fibromyalgia?
Approximately 2 to 4% of all Americans experience fibromyalgia. But what exactly is this debilitating condition? And what parts of the body does it affect? Fibromyalgia is a syndrome related to arthritis. Like arthritis, fibromyalgia can create interference in normal activities such as walking, working, or recreation. However, arthritis while affects only the joints, fibromyalgia causes pain to muscles, ligaments and tendons.
