THE QUESTION IS NOT ABOUT MY THYROID, I HAVE HAD A LUMP IN MY THIGH AT THE FRONT FOR APPROX 6 YEARS, IT ISN'T VERY HARD AND THE SIZE OF A 10P I CAN MOVE IT ABOUT A LITTLE, IT HASN'T GIVEN ME ANY PROBLEMS IN ALL THIS TIME, BUT THE LAST THREE MONTHS MY LEG HAS STARTED TO ACHE BADLY WHERE THE LUMP IS RIGHT UP TO MY HIP AND I ALSO FOUND WALKING UNCOMFORTABLE, BUT THATS SEEMS TO HAVE EASED IN THE LAST WEEK OR SO, SHOULD I GO TO THE DOCTOR - WHAT DO YOU THINK IT COULD BE, ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

Current medical status: THYROID
Current medical treatment: THYROXINE - WHICH I HAVE A BLOOD TEST FOR EACH YEAR

According to the data you gave, you might be experiencing a fibroma. A fibroma is a benign tumor composed of fibrous and connective tissue. As with every other tumor, the change of the condition might indicate that something is happening. Sometimes even the tumor might have turned malignant. You might want to go to your doctor to have it checked. A biopsy would determine whether the tumor is malignant and has to be removed surgically.
