Hello!
Im so glad to see that there are other women out there who are going through some of the same symptoms..I've actually had preg.symptoms without being pregant! I guess this is due to the fibroids. Please anybody tell me how in the world do fibrois kick? Ladies I've noticed that you feel kicking. Whats up with that. I have not told ANYONE that I feel kicking but guess what? I DO. I think I will seek alternative herbal therapy because I've been diagnosed with 2 golf ball size fibroids. Im tired and just dont want to deal with this anymore. God bless you ladies..

Juice feasting info required pls :-)
hi
my mum is 52 years old and has had fibroids for nearly ten years, she has looked about 6 months pregnant for the past few years but recently they have got even bigger. She has no faith in dr's and the hysterectomy is not an option due to fear of hospitals.
Can anyone give me more info on the juice feasting and any other options that may be of help?
She is experiencing alot of back pain, nausea, shivers/sweats, and the bad days are geting more often than not.
Many thanks to you all for any advice you can give. The dr's in UK are rather single minded and useless.

Nausea, Diarrhea, Necrosis....
Hi Everyone

I'm 40 years old and 4 fibroids. One of which is 8 x 10 cm (subserosal). I have nausea and diarrhea most of the time. The ultrasound reports have shown stabilization in growth however the MRI report says the large fibroid is likely going through necrosis (degeneration) and that they can't rule out cancer. The doctor has put me on Lupron to see if it will shrink the fibroids before surgery in January. I've become a nervous wreck and can't seem to get the "C" word out of my head. I've stopped eating any foods with added hormones but I too would be interesting in finding about the juicing.

I appreciate any feedback anyone can share. Oh by the way, the doctor told me that diarrhea has nothing to do with fibroids which makes me think it really is something serious.

Hi Letizia,

i see you wrote this 2 years plus ago. So how is it with you ?
I had a fibroid degenerated in oct 2011,, i was in severe pain, hence the gynae saw via ultrasound i got a triangle fluid in my womb, they ordered MRI to rule out sarcoma. The report is i have multiple intramural fibroids.
I wonder when fibroid degenerates, isnt it supposed to be a good thing??
why must they rule out cancer?
But the thg is i did not feel my womb shrink after the fibroid degenerated? or is it supposed to not shrink?
anyway, my fibroid not tat big , abt 5cm, but i have many small ones in my womb.

So, what did you do to your womb?

I use to suffer from fibroids.
This can be a solution for those that have fibroids. I use to have lots of bloating, heavy periods and gas. And use to urinate a lot and now I use a juice that stop my bloating and gases and less bleeding and less trip to the bathroom.

Fibroids, nausea and pain.
Thank you. I found this post very helpful but would love to know what juice is best for the fibroids.

Gingerale is excellent for the pain. Cranberry juice is also great for the pain and nausea. I also have a runny nose and sore throat. I thought this was just allergy. Never thought it could be the fibroid. Yes, fibroids do weaken your immune system.

Elevating your legs also helps the bloating and pain. Stay away from salt and sugar. NO CAFFINE. Yes caffine does make the fibroids grow. Forget waiting for menopause I am 63 and still suffer from my fibroids. However, diet can make a world of difference. Gentle sex. Rough sex can irrate them and produce more swelling.

I'm 47 and last year doctor discovered that I have fibroids (5 of them).I'm having heavy bleeding, pain is awful... First it was scary... Then I did some research : I'm not alone, hysterectomy is not an option, fibroids will shrink after menopause (even if you will remove them, they will grow back!). What to do?
Our health in our hands, ladies! I agree with diet, herbs, Natural Medicine - it is the key. Let's support each other and help with personal experience.Number 1 is a good cleansing, get rid of toxins, heavy metals and all the poison out of your body. Then right diet, herbs, "clean" veggies and fruits (juices).Let see what will happen! Good luck to everybody and Stay healthy!

Hope this helps anyone reading
Are you sure its not your gallbladder or ulcers? The reason why I ask is because I was having the same issues and after numerous test I had 10 stomach ulcers and my gall bladder had sludge and a few small stones..I also had fibroids. The Dr took care of the worst issue first which was my Ulcers because they were bad..She put me on Dexilant and let me just tell you...I went from 190 pounds to 150 in 4 months because I could not eat hardly anything because I would double up in pain at night. after the medicine I have never had another incident. The Fibroids just cause heavy periods and lower pain that is bearable not like the ulcer/gallbladder issue which was unbearable. It also explains why I have to urinate all the time..that is a common issue with fibroids. Call around and try and find a place that can help you with getting answers. A pelvic exam can give the Dr an idea if you have fibroids because you will be tender and a Ultrasound can confirm this. I went to a Gastroenterologist. I hope you get some answers.

What's new in the world of fibroids?
I had large fibroids in 2001 when I was 25 years old. I had a myomectomy (like a c-section basically) to have them removed. A few years ago, the doctor discovered 2 very small ones (1.5cm & 2cm) in my uterus but they weren't that big so they weren't causing any problems. That's what the doctor said anyways. Meanwhile, I have horrible left ovary pain right before my period that is supposedly from the scar tissue from the surgery. My periods are nightmarish! So bad of cramps brought to tears, can't be in a car, 6-8 hour naproxen wears off in 2 hours, heavy bleeding, passing clots, horribly bloated feeling, sometimes uterus feels like it is stretching, nauseous, terrible lower back "labor" pains, feeling of having to do #2, etc. This year, dr ordered abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds & other than the fibroids, I was normal & told to "suck it up - it's only a day or 2 a month." But it's not. It's the ovary pains for several days prior and then the cramps and heavy bleeding used to only be 1-2 days but since the suck it up incident, that next period was 5 days straight. I hated that surgery but I would do it again in a heartbeat if I thought it would help. Having a really rough day today because I know what is ahead of me for the next 10 days and I want to crawl in bed till it's over. I am seeing my original dr that dx me in 2001. Can anyone with more recent experience with fibroids give me some direction to speak with him about this? In 2001 pretty much my options were hysterectomy (not an option for a 25 year old & still not now at 37) or the c-section myomectomy. What else is out there now? Thank you!
