i had fever for along period of time about 1 month and all invetigations are negative except for cmv igg which is high titre and also positive salmonella h antigen but the treatment doesnot have any effect till and note be that fever respond good for the antipyretic and is between 38-39

Thanks for using this forum....

Pyrexia because of salmonella is good possibility,maybe you should shift to a higher cephalosporin the fourth generation and note the decrease in titre...Long term pyrexia becomes challenging and I guess you should seek some physician to have a thorough checkup and investigations..Do you have evening fever or intermittent fever?
