Hi. I'm a 32 year old woman TTC for the first time. For some reason, I'm interested in birthing twins. We haven't seriously TTC'd yet , so I'm wondering if there are any dangers associated with requesting fertility drugs to enhance egg production.

Or should I just leave it up to nature?

Hi i dont know quite how to say this so i just will. To me you sound a tad picky!!!
Most of us on here are having so much difficulty TTC that its heart-breaking and your writing to us asking about fertility drugs and twins!!! You have no idea if you will even have trouble TTC (as most of us do) so my suggestion is take it as it comes. Each month there is only a small window of hope to conceive and you may be one of the lucky ones who do ( and i really hope you are) but for us majority we arnt. Im currently taking a fertilityb drug as i do not ovulate and i have genuine troubles but your only problem is that your being 2 picky! Be thankful for what you get instead of trying to play God.
Goodluck and leave the miracles up to God!!!

Thanks for your opinion, Lola. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble ovulating. That must be so frustrating and upsetting. I can also understand that my question may seem light. But it's not.

I'm new to TTC, and also have serious questions about our fertility ability. My husband smokes 1/2 pack of cigarettes daily (which I've read can affect fertility) and in 3 years together, we've had unprotected sex with no consequence. I am wondering we also might need to ask for a sperm analyses. I think more information is better than less.
