What is most worrisome is that i have had chest pains ans feel like ice water is running through my veins i currently have a hot water bottle to ease the pain in my chest. I am only 25 years old and have suffered from low iron all my life. Can you explain what is happening with my chest?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Cough could be due to many benign reasons, supportive care is advised for that. Iron deficiency needs iron replacement. Avoid too much hot fluids as those could irritate your gastric mucosa and can lead to such discomfort.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
