Q: Feeling terrible after sleep

While I was a freshman in college, I was suffering from severe social anxiety and depression. As a result, I kept missing classes and stayed all night in front of computer everyday. I had instant meals only when I felt so weak my body was shaking(although I rarely felt hungry), never exercised, and had an extremely unhealthy sleep pattern during the entire semester.

Finally I got kicked out and transferred to another school and live with my family. I'm still leading an unhealthy lifestyle but at least it's much better than when I was in campus. Unfortunately, the self-torture in college made me sick and tired all day. The worst part is I experience flu-like symptoms after waking up, after a regular sleep or a nap. I get a fever, chills, and fatigue that make me feel so sick. Sometimes I have to stay in bed for hours before getting up, even though I'm awake, because I feel so sick.

What's more strange, however, is that I feel much better once I'm out of bed for a while, usually after taking a shower or having breakfast. I still feel fatigue, but the other symptoms disappear by then.

Could someone shed a light on what might be happening inside my body?
