Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Increase in appetite and food cravings are common symptoms experienced during pregnancy. Choose healthy and high protein foods over carbohydrate containing foods. Your body requires extra nutrition to cope up with baby’s needs and stress of pregnancy. If weight gain is rapid, or if symptoms are suggestive of gastritis/bloating, visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation. Consider being in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
