Hi
Have finally found someone who makes me feel complete in bed! Loving caring and sensual.
Only problem is the next day I feel completely drained and shakey. He seems to hit the right spot during sex and I seem to be constantly coming. Could this be creating the feeling of withdrawal systems the next day?

Is your partner especially psychologically dominant in bed? Do you feel a sense that they are in complete control of you when you're intimate?

Is the shakiness sort of the hunger shakes? feels a bit like you're empty but food doesn't necesarilly fix it? Is your blue periods accomanied by moments of inappropriate emotional reactions to things? Extra anxiety or excitement that doesn't make sense in a situation?

Lots of questions. Really making me think!
I think it is an equal partnership in bed...but he is the only man that has ever made me feel relaxed totally and content.
The hands actually quiver...I assume like an alcoholic who has got the shakes! Tried food, coffee, cigarettes but nothing seems to help.It lasts for about 8 hours from when I get up after lovemaking the night before.
I am experiencing inappropriate emotions, highs and lows
without knowing why they are so intense. Thought it was too do with the whirlwind romance I am having with my partner of 8 weeks, never experienced anything like it before. Does being emotionally in love with someone have this effect?

Well, sort of.
What you're describing sounds a lot like a form of PTSD called Bottoming out. You can get that from sex that's expecially violent or frightenning or if you're feeling intense emotions that aren't resolved. It's a common problem for people involved in BDSM communities.

I'd suggest you indulge you need to be close to him and be comforted after sex. Maybe call and check in with him if you feel like you need to connect. Perhaps plan sex more carefully so you can spend more clothed time around him as well. Don't hold back from talking about your feelings with him, especially if those feelings are fear or vulnerability or anything you need his re-assurance.

If these shakey periods aren't going away or if they don't appear to be happenning in conjunction with sex you'd want to talk to your therapist.

I have had this happen with my partner quite often, but only if I've had a number of orgasms. I assume that it is just to do with the amount of physical energy I've expelled. I'm also pretty shaky after running a couple of km, so I figure it's the same thing. The psychological aspects might have something to do with it, but I'd be careful about going down this path -- sometimes we are too quick to give labels to things that are just normal physiological responses...

Thanks for that, was beginning to feel I wasn't normal. I think it is total contentment with someone that I love deeply!
