Hi..
My joints are swollen,hot,stiff and very painfull..
Ill will try to write this easy. I have tried nearly all NSAIDs (combinaded and over time) But with no effect, Im just get worse. And I tried Methotrexate in 6 months and Ebetrex (max dose) in a half year no effect.. But due the horror of syringes I switched to tablets again (maintenance dose) but think Im must switch bak again cause the side effects... Im also on Humira (taked 3 doses,no effect but Im now its to early) My pain are just so *** ill that Im not can do anything can nearly not stand..

Its been like that in soon 2 months and sometimes Im to bad for school,thats sad..Sad
Talked to my doc but she says Im just need to vent..

IM get sooo tired of my pain, Its destroys my day..


- what to do=?

Welcome to e health forum.

It is very hard position to be in pain and not get any relief from medications.

In case, you have severe debilitating pain and joint destruction from arthritis, then in addition to pain killers and immunosuppressive medications, Injection of steroid injection, within the joints may be helpful to reduce the inflammation.

In addition, you should also consult with your doctor or a orthopedician, with the possibility of joint replacement procedures, which may be the best alternative, as it will remove the source of pain and also improve the joint mobility and quality of life.
