I am feeling so ill, I just want to cry all the time. I am 7 weeks pregnant and the nausea is just overwhelming. I am also sleeping a crazy amount - 10 or so hours and night and then falling asleep for 3-4 hours in the afternoon. I feel like I am in this haze, as if I am recovering from being ill with flu or something - just zero energy and generally feeling rubbish. I am supposed to be working full time but had to take two days off at the start of the week and then I had to sleep in our sick bay yesterday afternoon. I went to see the doctor who said this is actually quite normal but I didnt realise I was going to feel so ill all of the time .. I just wondered if other people felt so bad, then I wouldnt feel so alone.

Im right at 7 weeks myself. whats worse is that I have no interest in hanging out with my friends and doing things I used to. which sucks because I wish I wanted to. Its just that I would be going out hanging with everyone with little to say and Im typically a bore because Im tired and feel like crap. Ironically I want to get out because Im getting cabin fever. Its all a bit ridiculous. I hope you start feeling better too. I believe we have another month or so of this, then its suppose to get a lot better.

You are not alone! I have nausea all day. No matter what I do. It should begin to go away in the second semester. Same with the terrible exhaustion. I am so tired and sick to my stomach that it causes me to be a jerk. I hate it but I will try my best to just let it go. Hold on! It will go away :]]

Yeah, your not alone. I am in my 9th week and have had all these symptoms. I went home early from work the other day because I was so nauseous. I called the dr. and they gave me some meds and have felt a little better although I am still so very tired all the time. My boobs just ache and I just want to cry. Just hang in there I tell myself. I am praying that it will pass.

Feeling just generally awful!
I'm with all of you. 11 weeks here and although I'm not feeling as sick,I'm still without energy or motivation. Now I cry for no reason and when I do eat I feel totally stuffed and have a hard time breathing. I am so hoping 2nd trimester is better. So far I'm not enjoying this!

Oh god I'm 10 weeks and 2 days now... I've felt like that for at least 3 weeks straight! Although I've been told that it does calm down an awful lot at 12 weeks so I'm looking forward to feeling that pregnancy "glow" and energy everyone raves about! We'll see! Smile

Ooooh! I so feel your pain! My 6 year old is driving me nuts! Mostly it's stuff that, were I feeling better, wouldn't be so bad. But I am @10 weeks now and have all the above mentioned symptoms. My first wasn't like this at all! I didn't even know I was pregnant til 4.5 mos! This one is kicking my butt! Here's to it getting better soon!

So true! But here is a tip..
Count me in.. 6 weeks in and felt miserable all day unti my mother gave a tip! Diet is key. So now I cut out the oil in the cooking and I eat well, getting to feel much better. Other than that the fatigue is still there but the weakness is gone! All the best ladies! Thought of sharing the tip that got me feeling a little better..

crowded boat
9 weeks here. Sitting at work feeling just awful. I'm so tired all the time and have intermittent waves of nausea - triggered by seemingly innocuous thing (water made me throw up yesterday. WATER!) I have a 4 year old at home that doesn't understand why I don't have the energy to play with him. The house is always a mess. Dinner is frequently a bowl of cereal. I've been late to work several times because I've been puking. So on top of feeling physically unwell, I also feel like the world's crappiest mom, wife, and employee.
