Hi, I'm asking for advice because I don't know what to do about the tops of my thighs. When I was younger I gained weight on my hips and thighs, and I've lost weight because a i exercise daily, have an active job, and walk everyday, but I can't seem to get rid of the fat in these areas. I've had tem for so long now that it really gets me upset because I ask myself if I will ever get rid of the them. The fat is solid, so yeah it doesn't sag but it doesn't budge either! any advice or tips to get rid of them please? thanks so much.

Its all about diet and building up the muscles. Lunges, squats and step ups should help but spot reduction is a myth. You can never have too strong of legs though so get to the gym and get started. Look to get on a diet that works for you. If you need help I could put something together for you if you were interested PM to let me know about that.

A fitness trainer told me that exercising the muscles will only push the fat outward making it more noticeable.
Like with belly fat, you have to do cardio a lot to get rid of the fat BEFORE building the muscles because the defined muscles will only push the fat out more....

that staement is false. belly fat and toning and definition and all that falls into diet and cardio. Not cardio OR diet. Both must happen and be followed very strictly or else no results will be achieved. Cardio is the least of the fitness equation...

Nutrition is 80%
Weights are 15%
Cardio is 5%

Understand that and follow it then you are on your way to achieving what is it you want to do.
