Hi there, I too get lipomas- I have them on my thighs, back and one big un on my forearm. I have found a way to get rid of the one on my forearm, Powerball!
its not totally gone, but its reduced in size by about 25% so far! and still going! i have been doing the powerball for 15 mins every night for 3 weeks.
if only there was a back/ thigh powerball lol.
hope this helps you as it did me. whatever it takes.
I have about 40 of these lumps spread accross my entire body. They are on my arms, my legs, my stomach, my hip, under my ribs, etc. The biggest ones are on my arms, with the biggest being about the size of a golf ball on my forearm.
Doctors keep telling me to leave it alone, but the damn things looks Grotesque. Any advice or referals to specialists any can share with me?
I have been drinking Hemp Milk, eating Special grinded Hem seeds and loads of Flaxseeds and oil lately...now for the first time EVER my lipomas are getting smaller & smaller! wow I was told there was nothing I could do by doctor well THINK AGAIN! Natural healing at its best folks!
The cause is said to be hereditary only and there is no known cure but removal.
They usually reside solely in the fatty tissue, but in some circumstances, like if you let it grow too big, it can interfer with nerves and arteries, and potentially posing a risk.
If a lump is obervably growing bigger or causing pain, (i had 3 at the base of my back removed, and not a moment too soon since they were close to a nerve, not to mention my spine!) GET IT TAKEN CARE OF! My dad has one in his leg that they couldnt fullyremove because it is caught around a nerve or artery, so they just cleaned out as much as possible and most of his pain is gone. i still need to take out another 30 or so, but i dont want to look like a stabbing victim!
i have a lump on my muscle on my right arm. it is annoying as some days i can see and whenever i do something like tidy up, exercise or play with my nephew it begins to hurt. i went to see the doctor and said wait a couple of months and if it is still there come back. i have had them for over 3years and im 18 now.
I also have two types of lumps, the most prominent are under the skin on my arms and legs. They are various sizes, some size of pea others size of a kidney bean! The doctors seem to feel the same as most of you, fatty tumors, however my husband gets them a lot and had several removed on back and neck, and has more trouble now with tightness from the scars from surgery than the pain from the lumps. I also have small lumps, smaller than a pea on my arm on the outside, more like growths that are skin toned, but are fluid filled. I was told these are nerve cysts, since I have a number of neurological issues such as numbness and tingling in arms this makes sense I guess. Have had all of these for years, had breast cancer that was caught early and treated, again told the lumps are unrelated and not dangerous. With my many health issues and various specialists I believe at this point that they are something like cellulite that you just get and have to learn to live with.
I have a lump about the size of a half dollar on my forearm. It doesn't hurt at all and can press on it and it rolls around a bit under my fingers. Only noticeable when arm is straightened out, not when I bend my arm. Does this sound like lipoma??
I just want to say thanks to ALL the people on here who have commented. I've only just found this site, because I was fretting about a lump if just found in my upper front thigh. reading all your comments has calmed me down, and I think I'll actually sleep tonight because of you all. Thankyou so much....all of you.
I have lumps all over too, some hurt and some dont, it is horrable because you think are they just fatty lumps, In the past I cut down on my dairy in take and I stop having caffeine, this helps me with the pain and they seem less of a problem and plus I drink plenty organic water and do body brushing, all this is a lot of work at the beginning but it soon becomes away of life, this is the only way I found that makes me happy. I think the fatty lumps must have something to do with what we put in our bodies.
I also have bumps on my forearms, shins and heals. I have just this weekend gone for a MRI after my ultra sound was inconclusive. I should have the results in about a week. I will post the results when there in.
My father (86 years old) is a cancer patient and last night a lump just appeared on his arm that is sore to the touch but doesn't hurt otherwise. He also had another one come up this morning so that is two that has popped up overnight. Have any of you experienced yours coming up that quickly?
I am glad to know that this is a common problem for many people. I have had one on my upper inner thigh for about 15 years now. I don't even remember when it first appeared. For years it was the size of a large grape but over the last year or so it has started to grow. Now it is the size of golf ball. No pain but it can be uncomfortable when I sit down at times. The good new is that I am having it cut out in about a month or so.
I too have these lumps on my outer thighs and arms...mine are not visible to the eye....they are inside the skin..my right leg is very painful all the time..mine too feels like a bumpy road, always a constant pain, can't even sleep on that side...getting some x-rays done..doc said it could be from my back (back trouble history )...also said it could be cholestoral deposits..or i may have fell on it (not)..if any of you ever found out for sure what is causing your lumps please let me know ..Thanks
