I have been on the pill (microgynon) for about 10 years. Last month I had to take some antibitoics (amoxicillin) and whilst I knew that this makes the pill less effective, my partner and I decided that we would take the risk and have unprotected sex. Although we were not planning on having a baby right now, it would not be bad news by any means!

I felt some cramping pain around day 14 and 15 of my cycle, which I understood could be ovulation. Around that time I started to get very tired and thought I might be coming down with something.

I then got my period one day earlier than normal and it lasted for a few days (normal for me).

Since then however, I have had continual mild cramping, continued to be ultra tired, have been feeling slightly nauseous, and have also been experiencing hot flashes. The hot flashes have been going on for about two weeks now.

I have been taking my temperature during the hot flashes, and it is only around 37.1 but it feels like I'm on fire.

To me this seemed like I could be pregnant but it is now 21 days since the fist pain which I out down to ovulation, and HPT are giving negative results.

Anyone seen anything like it?
