Approximately 6 months ago I had my first faint. It was around a stressful time where I was making university application ( and didn't get into my 1st choice). The fainting became more frequent so I decided to go to the doctor. I had a heart/ head scan, blood tests, 24 hr pulse rate measuring and they were all fine. I did go to uni for a month but after fainting so many times and once falling down the stairs in the underground I start getting anxiety and quit uni to move back home. Naturally I started getting scared to go out. This eventually lead to anxiety and depression. Now the doctors have blamed it all on being psychological.. I don't think it is. I think it's is physical and now the anxiety and depression are making it x100 worse. I'm 20 and I feel like it's the end of the road for me. The worry of this is causing my parents to argue. It's putting strain on everything. I do think about ending my life but don't purely because i think it will destroy my family even more than I already have. Does anyone else get faints? know of any other things that can lead to faints? ear? stomach? would show up in blood tests? thanks for reading!

Hi ohdean and welcome to ehealth: The mind can play games with us...The more you think of them, the stronger they get...Try going out on short walks...Add a little more distance each time...This is something that you must fight off yourself...Panic is easy to achieve, but difficult to conquer...But, it can be done...Take care...
