Im 6 weeks plus 5 days pregnant ,one day befor i took 1 tab mifeprostone arround 1 pm then after 24 hours i inserted 4 tabs of misoprostol in vagina after around hour and half blood came down & cramps started but it was very mild like a period cramps didn't even need pain-medication so witin 2-3 hours went to toilet i had diarrhea and passed a 2 inches blood clot blood continued to pour after an hour i passed another 2 blood clots and that was it didnt see any fetal sac ! Then the cramps disappeared and blood became less and after 24 hour from that blood stopped . Im worried now that it failed i dont want to go through this again it was emotionaly exhausting

Update today im having heavy bleeding like a heavy period . Im afraid its incomplete abortion has any one had been through the same ?!

its like mine. dont worry its natural it will continue bleeding until there still a blood cloth inside. but the first blood cloth that poured was the fetus already so don't worry..

i took the medicine this morning and after 3 hours my menstruation started. few more hours, i see a tiny blood cloth on my pad,, how long should i bleed to make sure my abortion is complete,, a friend of mine took the same medicine last week and she only bleed for 3 days!!
im afraid to fail this.i took 2 cyto + 2 lesie and quay this morning and inserted 2 cyto inside my vagina. after 3 hours i took again 2 cyto and lesie and quay...
plz tell me how to know and mare sure that an abortion is complete. is 3days of menstuation enough to make it complete?? thanks thanks

Hi dont worry bleeding Can be from 3 days up to 5 weeks it varies among women wait for arround a week or so then go do ultrasound or do pregnancy test.

Update : today is my 8th day post abortion the bleeding is almost stopping ,now it became brownish spotting only so i did a home pregnancy test & it came negative . Also im starting from today OCP .

Dont judge on me you dont know what im going through this wasn't easy, what do you think is better if i brought a child to unstable life full of conflicts and problems or if didnt come ?! If i will bring a baby to this world i want him/her to have a good and stable life and i dont have that now to offer.

Hi,

I had nearly the exact same experience as you. Only an hour of bad cramping, hardly any clots, all very small, nothing that appeared like the fetal sac I had read descriptions of....I was really scared the medical abortion had failed, as my experience didn't seem to be nearly as intense and painful as the stories of read on these forums.

Today, I had my two week recheck appointment with vaginal ultrasound. The nurse & doctor confirmed, my medical abortion was successful. So I guess a few of us are just lucky and have a way less traumatic experience? Phew. Take care Smile

Hi violet glad you had an easy experience same as mine cause i thoght that mine had failed especially after reading about the other women horror stories ,but i went to the hospital for check up and did an ultrasound and everything was fine Smile
