Factors V and X or factors 10 and 5?

Haemofilus influenzae needs growth factors X and V. my question is: Are they called factors x and v(letters) or factors 10 and 5? and why so?

First of all it is Haemophilus influenzae and it is pronounced as factor 10 and factor 5. these names are given due to their order of discovery. In research they name them like this and they got so famous that they remain so.
