For the past couple of months I have noticed some swelling on the left side of my face, in front of the ear area.
It is soft, easy to push in and is painless.

The puffiness or swelling disappeared when I used prescription diuretics. I have tried reducing the intake of salt, refined carbs, caffeine, and drinking lots of water, to try to get the same effect without any luck.

I'm starting to wonder if this may be a dental issue. I'm not a very good brusher and I do have inflammed gums. I have had most of my wisdom teeth removed, but not all of them. I was wondering if this could be caused by the last wisdom tooth attempting to push through.

I would think if the last wisdom tooth was not in and pushing through that this could cause swelling...I know that when I go to the dentist and have work done that this alone causes swelling...If it continues to bother you have it checked out by either your doctor or the dentist....It probably will give you peace of mind...Good luck....
