Please help I've been ill for five weeks now and its definitely not subsiding!

Five weeks ago I went to the doctors with swollen lymph nodes on the back of my head, fever, aches and pains and an ear ache. I had an ear infection. The doctor told me it would go away by itself but it didn't so a week later I went back and he gave me antibiotics to take for seven days.

After that my ears still felt painful and full feeling. I feel sick when reading and in the car, and driving severely pops my ears and feel like theres loads of pressure in my head and I get headaches front and back. So I went back to the doctors and I got a different doctor who said that I just had a lot of wax to put in my ears and that I should put oil down so I did that for a week and still nothing. In fact I felt it got worse.

Now it has progressed to feeling like my face has been punched. My jaw, especially on the left side really hurts and so again I went back to the doctor who said I just had a viral infection, I got tested for mumps and glandular fever but I don't have the results yet. My face isnt that swollen though my neck ones feel a bit like it and although I know it feels like mumps, I had mumps 4 years ago so it can't be that!

Please its just been so long now the doctors don't seem to know what it is. My medic student friend reckons I could be grinding my teeth but my boyfriend says he hasn't heard anything and it seems to get progressively more painful throughout the day and worse in the evening before I go to bed. A couple of times like this evening I have also felt feverish, hot faced, hot eared and nausea. Right beneath my ears about where lobes are, are where it is most painful.

I am now also feeling for the past few days an aching pain in my right arm and leg every now and again but it comes and goes. Similar to growing pains. Please what is wrong with me? Its just frustrating as I'm trying everything but it just doesnt feel like its going to get better!
